Its landed, sadly I feel way too ill to be reviewing it for Fixen but will as soon as I'm on my feet. It really is stunning though and is already in a pose to die for.

And thanks all of u how worked on them!!! And I Hope i dient offend u!!! All i whanted is an armature for my self. To be honest, i never checked which version of the plans i had. So im a little confused about witch Version is witch. I guess my Parts are a Version 2 as well. I. Made only minor changes to it, and only because couldent to it the other Way. Regarding the finish, i dont have access to a lasercuter. That's why i used a cnc mill. ![]() Any way sorry again. Regards Felix |

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
I just received the armature! Big thanks goes out to Felix!
Just to be honest, there are a few things that are different from the SS frame, like the type of allen screws and a couple of very minor items. Overall, it's a work of art, in my opinion, and I will be very happy building this model!! Joe ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's if I can ever stop playing with damn thing! Haha! But seriously, I've already cut the panels for the head. I'll have to start my own thread and stop hijacking Guy's. Speaking of Guy, are you feeling better? I know you had been sick.Joe |

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
Thanks Joe, was a killer bug I had over Xmas, on the mend now though thanks. I'm on a back burner for a while as my toys got packed away for Xmas and I dont think I'll have any time to get em out till mid Feb.
I've a few small issues with my armature that am hoping to et nailed with Felix when he's back from Hi Vacation, nothing major but worth sorting. Trouble is I dont know what to work on when I get some time, my Entex castings arrived today for the slave. I cant wait to get cracking on anything to be honest. |

At last, I'm getting some work done on this build. Its been an age since I touched anything and am pretty stoked to get going again. Legs first, better to work up than down. Thanks again to Felix for sorting me out.

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
WOW I don't think I could cover that with plastic.......would be cool
to have one finished with the body armature inside. Then have another body armature to display next to it to show whats going on underneath! |

Cheers mate, I'm trying my best not to refer to other build threads with this and am def not going to anal with placement. I dont get much time these days so just getting this built is a pleasure in itself.

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
Mate i hear ya, im all but done with rivet counting, sure, i want the right parts etc, but getting every rivet fitted just isnt my game anymore, "its a model, it looks about right....im happy, go bug somebody else" LOL.
Cant wait to see more bud, im sure its going to look just like all the other ATST's around here, unique, and superb! lee |

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
Oh stop...you guys are just being modest.
![]() It's the years of honing your craft that the perfection simply flows without thought. I know I've been inspired many times, and will continue to be, by you guys' builds and acute attention to detail. Me personally, I've invested too much that I will be anal even if it means copying some of the imperfections in the ILM models. Guy, that shot of the head attached looks awesome! More please! Joe |

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
Cheers Mike, thankfully I found the correct Matilda parts as the ones you've suggested are slightly too Musical
![]() Had a little go at the legs again today, I'm a bit gutted as my Vosper parts are from a built and painted kit and didn't come free without a struggle and some slight damage....better than spending £50 though! I also trimmed the C600 panel too short but hey...... I like it ![]()

Re: ESB AT-ST Turkey Walker (Chicken to the talented)
That chicken's coming out /very/ nice!
I've always been fond of the ESB version of that design. The leg proportions are nice. Was there ever a reason given for the differences in the RotJ one? I presume it was to accommodate the full-size prop? |
