Everything you've done so far looks perfect.
The finished shot should be unveiled hopefully by friday
THE FINISHED SHOT IS UP!!!!!!!
To view the full edited shot cut into the film on vimeo here's the link https://vimeo.com/47677051
To view just the un-cut effects shot on vimeo https://vimeo.com/47683276, for this one you'll need the password which is "fantamation"....... gee how original LOL
it'll be up on You Tube in a little bit, will post that link as soon as I get it
Awesome Really great job on it, sound effects mix perfect!
Yeah, that really helps flesh out the shot!!! Nice!
Stunning mate, really great stuff you've done a bang up job on it......All you need to do know is remove a couple hundred Ewoks and the circle is complete
Very cool. I bet you had fun doing it. I bet it was a ton of work.
I showed my wife, who has never seen the films, and she couldn't tell what you added.

love it, fantastic job.
Excellent animation and SPFX!!!
Perhaps for your next scene ... this:
Hey Thanks everybody for the kind words of support, this Wampa attack shot was just a warm up for the next shot which I'm currently getting set up for. This time it's gonna be a full on running shot....... wip pics will be coming soon
Ok, here's a couple of wip pics of the set, I just have to carve out the left side of the set behind the lair entrance and add a couple of "floating" boulders here and there and then extend the far inside cave wall a tad and it'll be ready to go
Love it! Looking forward to seeing more!
Looks fantastic! You should be very proud.
I never thought that they'd stopped over the lair, makes total sense :-)
Cant wait to see more
Well, I just wanted to show that the Wampa was alerted by Luke running over the lair
excellent job on the models. and an excellent job on the scene.
Counting the days mate, cant wait for round 2.
Love the shot. It's great to see some fun stopmotion
I was thinking that another cool shot to do would be the Wampa dragging Luke through the snow. It was the shot that they tried to get on location but couldn't get to work (actor kept falling over, just didn't look right, etc.)
seven- funny you should mention that, that's gonna be the last of the 3 shots I'm doing.
I love the Stop Motion miniatures you've made, I love the animation itself and what you are doing with these additional scenes...however I feel the whole thing is being let down by the actual composite, there's no subtlety to the outline of the Wampa or the Taun Taun, where as the original was animated against an actual sky backdrop which retains the softer edges of the creatures fur, this composite into an actual plate from the film seems very hard edged, plus I think using the exact same angle from the movie takes away from the shot, it looks like you've just added work into an existing frame, I think this would look cooler closer up and either better comped against the sky or animated against a painted backdrop like the original scene. The lighting on the original Taun Taun is also coming from a different direction to your final shot.
Just watched the vid - FANTASTIC JOB!
Now.. how about a scene from the Cantina where instead of Han shooting back at Greedo, Han tries to convince Greedo that he's on the wrong path and that they should discuss their differences...
