C19, however, looks like an additional part is glued in the center.

This is looking beautiful. I am glad that you are sticking to this. I hope that when you are done with this thing. George Lucas him self will be green with envy and wonder why up and down he did not hire you for the model making job. So keep at it!
All the best! Alex |

Re: Building the 8' Star Destroyer (superstructures done)
Thank you guys !
I wish you all a Happy New Year ! I moved to my new house house next week, but I still have to pick-up all my SS models (that's safer to do it by my own). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope I'll have some significant progress made on the 8 footer this year ! Happy new year to you too J. Better you than me, moving that SS collection mate, you got a decent van to haul those goodies?.

Re: Building the 8' Star Destroyer (superstructures done)
Hey Tox, any updates on this build? It was the reason I joined after all. I'd hate to see it fall by the wayside.

Re: Building the 8' Star Destroyer (superstructures done)
Thanks for your interest !
![]() Unfortunatly I'm still looking for someone who could cut for me the large acrylic panels of the hull and the plywood ribs. Too big for being cut by myself...

I made mine for 15 years ago. Just screwed a power tip saw on the thick plywood box. I used to cut the 3' x 6' panel with this. Smooth and clean cut. |
