I really like the 14" or so Stormtrooper. Who makes that?

    The Star Destroyer looks fantastic!

    Hey friends,

It is 12" stormtrooper, which has manufactured from Marmit in Janpan.
IMO, the stormtrooper is better than others (Medicom/Attakus/Kotobukiya...etc.,)

    Hi Buddies,

Long time no update this post.
Recently, my ISD under construction is mounted on the speaker stand, which is inspired by Kurt's falcon stand. Thanks Kurt

Now, I'm trying to settle lots of donor kits and identify my theory for ISD's length. (Whether 3foot or not)
I guess the length is 4foot based on used 8rad part in ISD
As you can see, I have to fill the space w/ donor kits but unsettled kits is still a long way off.

I am SOOOOOOO looking forward to viewing more progress on this GREAT beastie! I am glad you are using the stand as well! I can't think of anyone better to build this beastie! FANTASTIC my friend!

BTW... I think that specific stand has now gone down in price!!! The last i looked it was down to about $45 U.S. Dollars! Now THAT is a GREAT deal!! I think I will be ordering a few! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

    My God.

    Can you make me one?

Seriously that is probably the coolest thing I've seen this year. I had an idea to build something like this, but realized that there's some folks whose obsessions are greater than my own. Meaning, I don't think I could Nerd Up enough to do something like this justice.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, and have the Making Of Star Wars book, and it really makes you want to do stuff like this. I wish I had the time.

Seriously, keep posting pictures. I'm a big fan.

It is very insane that you had to search and put those individual parts from scatered parts.

I can see an exhaust housing from panther tanks, some tracks, and turret hook ? Some parts from destroyer and cars parts.

    Mad !!!

    Keep em going man.

Eric, I sent you a PM because I am trying to find parts to make one of these too. Can you help me with the following:

    1. What are the correct knobs to use for the domes? I found a very similar knob from Hickory Hardware, but they make a 35mm one and a 40mm one. Which one is the right size?

    2. What thickness is the acrylic sheet you are using?

    3. What is your reference for the angles of the body?

    4. How did you make the dome on the bottom of the ship?

Thanks very much. Keep up the good work on your Star Destroyer! Post an update soon!

    Hi Buddy~!

    Sorry for late!!!
Please refer to the below answer

    1. I used 35mm knob for ISD's dome

    2. I used 2mm acrylic sheet to make the frame

    3. I totally depended on the size and angel by my eye measurement.

    4. I drilled the bridge and join the top with knob by screw of knob.
It could be possible because I used cabinet knob.

    thanks Eric.

Thank, Eric! I ordered 2 of them from eBay. Would you be interested in helping me with some kit parts? I have a lot of the parts already - but you have some I don't know about.

How is it in Korea? You know, I've been there several times. To Pusan, Chinhae, and Incheon.
