3" Death Star tile casting

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Here's the description:

"You are bidding on a resin recasting of the star wars death star surface piece. This casting was taken from an original piece of the death star surface belonging to the late Forry Ackerman and sold at auction in 2001. It measures 6" X 12" and is made of solid resin."

I just want to share it, and can post clearer pics if anyone wants. I just took it as described, not knowing if it was really what it was described as being. Afterwards I looked up some info here on the forum and found out it really does seem to be the same piece seen in the corner of this auction piece. The base they are mounted on seems to be plywood - one edge of which is rough and broken. Lots of pinhole bubbles.

I'm including some pics of the auction piece.
