Yeah, there is a tan grey mist in there... it should show up better with better pics tomorrow. This was a weird model to paint!
this is bittersweet. this phenomonal build and thread was the highlight of my day / night. This daily update in the stuido section was like xmas everyday.
anyway, thanks for sharing and the instructions. [edit.. i have to stop posting drunk]

looks perfect Jason, like it walked out of the archives!!!!![]()
Is there a template somewhere for the various tubing elements?
Yep - somewhere in this thread! Follow the clues... I mean, dig through the pages....
Simply stunning work Jason. I can't wait to get mine!

Steve
Oops... Didn´t read the thing with the hospital, glad you´re fine Steve, hope you recover completely soon.Take your time.
i just received my kit! But i need help identifying the missing parts
At first everything looks great.
but as i began to unwrap everything, i noticed some crucial parts missing. I'm afraid i won't be able to complete the kit without these crucial parts. Can anyone help me identify what i'm missing here?
This piece is missing... i think it was a p.newman ...(at least the cuts are clean)
And then this truvia sweetener is completely hacked and gone...
Last, i have no idea what is missing here, but i think it is a crucial element that will help me get ice cream at a discount...but i can't tell what brand! How will i complete this kit perfectly if you withhold some of the most critical pieces!
I'm speechless, i have no idea what to say, i can't believe the state i received this in...
thanks for this beautiful kit, i will try to continue without the missing parts...
p.p.s. hang in there with the kidney troubles. I had a 3mm stone last summer, that i thought would be the end of me. 8mm?! Take care of yourself! and get well soon.

Sorry about that...we ate the ice cream already, you may need to kitbash at a local Ben and Jerrys...
I hate it when this happens.... I got some spares with mine..too far to drive anyway.
Just in case anyone missed the joke neospring is referring to the missing coupons from my newspaper wrapping, not real missing parts from the kit.....
But joking aside, there is 1 tiny missing part from everyone's kit, it's the blurry part that goes on top of the body, as one person put it, the one that looks like Dr Evils ship...I think it's on page 17 of the instructions.
I did not realize that the part was missing until J did the instructions, which was about 1/2 way thru the run, so my plan is to make a gang mold of the part after the last kits have shipped and just send everyone that part. It's easier than trying to keep track of who and who did not get the part. It will give me a chance to send any other replacement parts that people need as well.
The last couple of people should be done in the next week or so and that will bring this to a close, please hang tight guys, things have changed a bit in the last weeks that have slowed me down a bit. My wife is working 6 days a week at this point so i have lost Sat almost entirely as a work day. If it keeps up too much longer i will really need to take a look at closing up shop for a while...
thanks
mike
NP, Mike! I hope the situation comes good for you soon.
Since we're talking missing parts, there's another, sort of - a small circular styrene chip under the port nose gun. I know, catastrophic, huh?![]()
LOVING this kit.
Mike thanks for the heads up. Itll be an age till i touch this bird anyhoo, but its typical of you to be so stand up, as always, impeccable customer service!
lee
howdy all,
Which direction are the nose barrels oriented?
I can't seem to find any info about it in the instructions.
I've sliced open my finger already cleaning flash. the doc gave me a choice between stitches and dermabond. I chose dermabond as it would get me back home to the kit faster lol.
